Auto vac. The Neato D is very smooth in its operation as well as cleanliness. Still not able to connect by iPhone.

Very happy, should have bought it years ago! this is a great buy!! I’m very happy with it. I have a very difficult carpet. It’s 150 m2 and it’s a real sticky carpet. It holding hairs, dust and is very difficult to clean that carpet. But this robot takes everything from the carpet. The first time I put the robot on the floor he had a hole wig after it’s tail after 1,5 uur cleaning. That many human hairs he extracts from the carpet. Outrageous. I’m very happy with the robot! With hairs he’s the best.

Having trouble finding home. It works very well, but sometimes it seems to loose orientation and have no idea of where it is in the house. I haven’t moved it, so it is not because of that.
When that happens and it tries to find its base, it can keep going in the complete opposite direction and run into the same walls again and again.

Cool device. I got my Botvac Connected today and tried it out. It did a good job covering my flat with a few exceptions:
    * It caught a cable connected to a chain of lights inside a glass vase and would have turned over the vase if I had not stopped it.
    * It caught a string attached to a shade in one room and got stuck. I had to free the brush manually.
    * It failed to enter the bath room because of an obviously too high step (it is below 1.9 cm, though).
    * It missed a spot in the kitchen behind the kitchen table and several stairs. I admit that it might be hard to detect a path here, but the Botvac succeeded to drive through the same type of chair in another room.

Features that I am currently missing:
    * I would like to specify a room to clean via the app (if the layout of the flat is already known). And it would be great to be able to schedule separate rooms at different times.
    * Driving the robot to a certain spot via tapping in the smartphone app.

Apart from that I am very happy with the Botvace Connected.

Could be better, price-to-value ratio is way off. Vacuum is fine and app is convenient feature. Navigation is better than the random paths taken by other machines, but for all the sensors in the device it sure does bump around all over the walls and furntiture (over time these bumps will surely result in permanent and unsightly damage). It even pushed its own base way out of place. Worst of all, why would you provide a map of the robot’s cleaning path, but not provide the user the ability to edit the map so the robot stays away from problem areas (e.g., scratching up the smooth-tapered base of my barstools by unnecessarily going around each one at least 3 times) ? The magnetic strips are barely detected by the thing and it just pushes them around. I’m not gluing or taping ugly strips to the floor in any plainly visible areas of my rooms. If your engineers can’t do better than that, hire new ones. This is a completely solvable problem.
