iRobot Roomba 614

Easy and Convenient, but not Perfect. First time Roomba user here, and I was pleasantly surprised! I have a 3 month old son and work full time, so it’s not always easy to find the time to vaccuum as often as I’d like. With the Roomba, I can turn it on and let it go while I do other things around the house, feed my baby, etc. It’s super easy to use and works well. In particular, it keeps the area around my cat’s litter box clean of excess litter, which was what I wanted it for the most. The only cons I’d have to say are that a) it’s noisy – louder than I expected, but still lower than a regular vaccuum b) Because of its round shape, I noticed it misses some spots, particularly along the corners or baseboards of our downstairs space, since it can’t get right up in there. I think if they designed the roomba as a square rather than a circle it could probably get those hard to reach corners and areas of the room. Overall, I’m pleased with the roomba and will continue to use it several times a week! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Great Product! Very convenient & long battery life! IRobot Roomba 614 makes it easier to maintain a healthy happy quality home. I was not aware of this product before recieving it, I would use a traditional vacuum that I would have to use several times a day to keep my home clean. I love how convenient this product is, I was expecting somethong smaller and was pleasently surprised how big this robotic vacuum is the dimensions are 36 inches in height and 13.4 inches in width the depth of this product measures 13.4 as well with a total weight of about 8Lbs. The battery life of this robotic vacuum is very pleasing as well as charging time. This vacuum used a lithium ion rechargeable battery. I love that this robotic vacuum is bagless and easy to detach and throw away any trash it picks up. I love that this product comes with many accessories from cleanong tools, filter and self charging base that isa traditional plug that plugs on wall. I would greatly recommend this product to others this vacuum picks up alot of dirt and debris. I would definately purchase this product and future irobot roomba products. I would buy this again! I’d buy one for my whole family! Finding high-quality vacuum cleaning system that can satisfy homeowners, by all means, is quite difficult. Still many big brands are trying hard to please their buyers. I have tested and reviewed so many traditional and modern home cleaning appliances till now but recently received a highly advanced vacuum cleaning system. When I opened the package, I was surprised to see that robot vacuum. It was just 7.5 lbs and the small round shape captured my attention instantly. It made me quite excited to use it fast and to share my experience with you all. Let me discuss all features of iRobot Roomba; I believe you will definitely love this tiny yet powerful cleaning system. Technological Aspects: Roomba 614 robot vacuum is designed with patented 3-stage cleaning system. It is an intelligent home cleaning solution that is loaded with powerful sensors and its iAdapt Navigation system takes it easily to the dirty corners of the house. I was quite impressed to see how well it target the high traffic zones in-house and clean them instantly with advanced Dirt Direct system. When I used this smart vacuum cleaner in rooms its performance was pretty satisfying as it made all the floors clean even at unreachable corners and around the furniture. Now, the next target was stairs. Before putting it in operational mode on stairs, I made some arrangements to protect it if it falls down because I was expecting that. But as soon as it started working on stairs, its Cliff Detect sensors got activated instantly and it started working like a human. Within few minutes it brought back the shiny look of stairs in my house. Easy to use: iRobot Roomba works well on carpets as well as hard floors. It is loaded with Auto-Adjust Cleaning Head that creates close contact with all floor types by simply controlling the multi-surface brushes. I would buy this product again. This Christmas Cindy gave me a Roomba. I’ve been hectored by allergies all my life and yet we have two dogs who eject hair and dander like lawn sprinklers. Her idea was that the thing would keep the house clear of pestilential allergens. “Uh, thanks, I guess,” was my enthusiastic response. There was no way this steroidal hockey puck was anything but a gimmick. I turned it on and it proceeded to recochet off the walls and furniture like a pinball. Archie the Ratter attacked, broadcasting more sinus irritants as he went into fight-or-flight mode. Undeterred, the bot skittered haphazardly over hard and carpeted surfaces and after awhile Archie and I forgot about it. A couple hours later I noticed it had docked on its little charger. I thought it was cool that it found its home after wandering aimlessly over the living room, kitchen, mudroom and central hallway. I went to empty the gizmo and was surprised to find it full of compacted dust bunnies and Archie debris. The rugs and hickory floor looked pretty good to boot. I waited a few hours and ran it again, and again the thing was full of stuff. I did this over and over until it came up empty. My rugs and hardwood floors were pristine. I ran it in the bedrooms where it wandered where we never venture – under the beds, where armies of dust bunnies gathered and hunkered over the years, regularly sending out patrols in search of my sinuses. Roomba has vanquished them. And I am a junkie. If I wasn’t so lazy I’d vacuum every day. But I am lazy and don’t. Roomba, on the other hand, is energetic. tireless and smart. My allergies are moderating. Now I need a lawnba, cookba, unpackallthestufffrommovingtothishouseba, robocallsba, junkmailba and enough other bas to eliminate all the annoyances of arduous American middle class life. Works better that expected!
Important to clean dust bin and hair on
rollers each time .
Have area rugs, tile and hardwood floors runs
approximately 1 1/2-2 hrs. Very satisfied!
